I value residential and commercial interior design equally. I enjoy personal consultations with residential clients and designing homes that are made to be enjoyed every day. I also take pride in thinking on a larger scale and designing spaces enjoyed on special occasions like high-end hospitality projects.

 

As a forward thinker, I am passionate about sustainability and aim to create spaces that will have a low environmental impact. Innovative materials, products, and technologies are also a passion of mine and I strive to create spaces that combine innovation and environmental sensitivity to create good value for the client. I also want to design equitable and inclusive spaces that take into account the needs of many, not just a few.

 

Clients’ wants, needs and personality are at the centre of my design process, but I always try to exceed their expectations and deliver a project that goes beyond their imagination. My strengths lie not when all is well with a project, but when there are challenges. My creative thinking, problem-solving skills and flexibility allows me to adapt and see a way forward through an issue.

 

I have learnt from those who have come before me, but am paving my own way into the future, challenging preconceived notions when necessary and asking the most important question – “why?”. So why do I design? Through a holistic approach, I work to not only create beautiful, sensual, comfortable, and practical spaces, but also to facilitate joy, growth, uninhibited play, inspiration and ultimately design a better future.
